Rebecca Mark-Lawson – Jury 2020

We are excited to welcome Sheffield producer Rebecca Mark-Lawson to our 2020 Jury. Rebecca will be selecting the winner of the Best Documentary award.

Rebecca run’s award-winning Tyke Films, producing work with original voices working between the intersection of documentary and fiction.

Their feature documentary Irene’s Ghost, listed as one of the ‘Best Films of 2019’ in the Guardian, premiered at BFI London Film Festival. It was nominated for a British Independent Film Award, and won Best Feature Documentary at the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.

In 2018 Tyke was selected for Creative England’s CE50, celebrating the achievements of the best up and coming, innovative and disruptive companies across film, games and digital tech and shortlisted for Breakthrough Producer at the BIFA’s.
