2021 Festival Announcement

Due to the ongoing and ever-changing situation regarding Covid-19, this year’s festival will be held online. It is regrettable that we have had to make this decision but given the current situation with UK wide lockdowns and the closure of cinemas, it has become incredibly difficult to organise a live event.

The online festival will take place between 17-23 May alongside industry sessions. We are also in the early stages of planning a special live event in August, by which time we are hopeful we can bring people together to celebrate in person. The summer event will be a ‘Best of Fest / Award Winners’ screening.

We will be making a full 2021 Official Selection announcement on Friday 23 April with the special feature ‘Spotlight on Africa’ being announced the previous week on Friday 16 April. Tickets will be on sale from this date also.
